With model companies filling military kit interiors with detail, there have been several ways to display it all; Rye Field Model’s cut-away approach is one of the more novel.
Its Panther G is due for release in September and will be in two forms, a baseline (RM-5018) and full interior (RM-5019). The latter will include pre-cut upper hull and turret panels, to allow the innards to be viewed, and this seems a more practical approach than offering clear parts (which can be marked and scuffed during construction). Even compared to just a few years ago, the level of detail is staggering, supplying a full engine, transmission, driver’s and fighting compartments, plus what appears to be a full ammunition load, with spare bag magazines for the MG 34 machine guns.
