MiniArt’s forthcoming releases include two very unusual 1/35 subjects; a ‘what-if’ spherical German beutepanzer (captured tank) and a rare Soviet armoured recovery vehicle.
Its Kugelpanzer 41(R) (Item# 40006) is a re-boxing of its excellent Soviet Ball Tank ‘Sharotank’, and offers the same superb interior detail with decals for six variants. It’s definitely an eye-catching design, and the unit liveries are even more so!
Moving back to real-world machines, MiniArt has taken its SU-122-34 (which was built in small numbers) and converted it into the TOP armoured recovery vehicle (37038). This was usually seen on military parades in Moscow, so its hat’s off to MiniArt for reproducing this in kit form. It includes optional open/closed hatches, individual-link-style OMSh workable tracks and decals for three machines.
